Philip Krämer, Head of Corporate Communications at ENTEGA, personally presented the heart-shaped pillows. He emphasized the importance of the ongoing commitment of the staff and wished the recipients a speedy recovery.
The pillows were accepted by PD Dr. med. Sven Ackermann, Director of the Women's Clinic. He thanked the staff for their long-standing support and highlighted how valuable the donations are for patients during their recovery.
Heart-shaped pillows offer comfort and relieve pain
The idea for heart-shaped pillows originated in the USA. They are softly filled and specifically designed to reduce pain after breast surgery. The pillows are worn under the arm to avoid pressure on the breast and fresh scars. Many patients experience this as a noticeable relief and as symbolic support during a challenging time.
