Support through employee sponsorship – project for inpatient hospice in the district
ENTEGA announced that the green energy and telecommunications service provider is supporting the Groß-Gerau Hospice Foundation with a donation of €1,500 . The donation is part of ENTEGA's employee sponsorship program , which allows employees to propose social, cultural, or environmental projects in the region.
The project was submitted by ENTEGA employee Ellen Berger , who is committed to the planned construction of an inpatient hospice with a day hospice in the Groß-Gerau district. "A hospice is an important institution in a society that is increasingly aging. Unfortunately, not everyone can provide palliative care for their relatives at home," explains Berger.
Hospice foundation with important social mission
The Groß-Gerau Hospice Foundation recognized as a legally independent foundation under civil law by the Darmstadt Regional Council in June 2021. dignified and personalized care . The planned hospice is intended to serve as an interface between nursing, medicine, and family—providing nursing, medical, psychosocial, and spiritual support. To date, 84 projects 400 employees participated , choosing their favorites from 42 proposals .
