Runners and cyclists impressed at the SG Arheilgen competitions
DARMSTADT – Two sporting highlights were on the program in Darmstadt this past weekend. On Friday evening, September 26, the Entega Night Run 2025 , with participants able to choose between distances of 2.5, 5, or 7.5 kilometers. Two days later, on Sunday, the traditional Frankenstein hill climb time trial , organized by the triathlon division of SG Arheilgen.

Eva Riedel of the SG Arheilgen Triathlon department impressed in the 2.5-kilometer race Lukas Beckmann competed in two events: He finished second in the M30 age group in the 2.5-kilometer race with a time of 10:32 minutes. In the subsequent 7.5-kilometer run, he crossed the finish line in 35:53 minutes, but missed the podium.
Excitement during the hill climb time trial
The hill climb time trial started as usual at the foot of the Frankenstein mountain. Every ten seconds, the cyclists set off on the 2.8-kilometer course, which was timed at the finish line above the mountain. In the men's race, Anselm Schüle first place in 9:45 minutes, closely followed by Bernd Eisele (9:46) and Maurizio Giuri Nadine Silvia Krisch won the women's race Marina Lefort finished second (12:18), and Dagmar Backes (13:37).
After the competition, the participants met for coffee, tea and cake for the announcement of the results, before many went to the Ratskeller for a convivial end to the day.
Tradition in September
The hill climb time trial takes place every September and is open to everyone, not just club members. External athletes are also welcome. Information about registration and the event schedule is published in advance by SG Arheilgen on their website , as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
