Disabled-friendly plants on Georg-Schüler-Platz, the Wagenhalle and Bar-Le-Duc Square
Griesheim has three public barrier -free toilet facilities in a central location. In order for these sensitive facilities to be used exclusively by people who rely on them, they are equipped with the Europe-wide uniform euro toilet key system.
The three disabled -friendly sanitary facilities are:
- At the car hall
- On Georg-Schüler-Platz
- Bar-le-duc on
"I am pleased that in Griesheim in the inner city area we can offer three public barrier -free sanitary facilities that are used exclusively by people who are dependent on it," explains Heike Maschke , disabled officer of the city of Griesheim.
Euro toilet key enables Europe-wide access
The euro toilet key offers people with physical impairment free and independent access to around 12,000 barrier-free toilet facilities in Europe . This also includes disabled toilets at motorway racing areas, train stations, museums, authorities and in pedestrian zones . The special locking system protects the systems from misuse and ensures cleanliness and hygiene - a particular advantage, for example for blind or visually impaired people.
Acquisition of the key in the region
The euro toilet key can be disabled for a fee of 28.90 euros at the club and your friends in Darmstadt and the surrounding area e. V. (CBF Darmstadt) . An output takes place exclusively to people who rely on toilets that are suitable for the disabled.
Requirements for the preservation
People with the following marks are justified in the severely handicapped card:
- AG , B , H , BL (regardless of the degree of disability)
- or g with a degree of disability (GdB) from 70
Are also entitled with medical evidence:
- Stoma wearers
- People with multiple sclerosis
- People with chronic bladder or intestinal diseases
- Fell ill with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
copy of the severely handicapped ID (front and back) or a corresponding medical evidence is required for the application .
Important: The key must not be borrowed to relatives or acquaintances , since the use is only intended for authorized persons.
