Free Christmas book and children's punch at Luisenplatz
As Europe Direct Darmstadt, operating under the Darmstadt Regional Council, announced, a pre-Christmas activity will take place again this year at Luisenplatz. On Friday, November 28, 2025, from 12 pm to 4 pm, the team will be distributing the Christmas book "Europe Celebrates Christmas" and hot children's punch free of charge and only while supplies last at the Liebig Monument near the Engel Pharmacy.
Limited edition book
The popular Christmas book has been reprinted in an edition of 7,500 copies. It offers insights into how Advent and Christmas are celebrated in various European countries. The project aims to create an early Advent atmosphere – both at home and in schools and kindergartens.
Meeting point at Luisenplatz
The book distribution will take place centrally at Luisenplatz in Darmstadt. Visitors can pick up their book there and enjoy a warm children's punch.
