Applications for the concert in September now possible
The district of Groß-Gerau and the Sparkassen Foundation Groß-Gerau are actively committed to promoting choral singing in the region. In addition to the district singer and the support of musical youth work, the evening of the choirs will be organized again in 2025. Choirs from the Groß-Gerau district can now apply to take part in this special concert in autumn.
Application and conditions of participation
All adult choirs that are located in the Groß-Gerau district can apply for the evening of the choirs. The application deadline is May 4, 2025 . Choirs of all choirs are approved, provided they have a corresponding repertoire. The duration of the performance is twice 15 minutes each , whereby all contributions must be performed without technical support (playback).
Choirs that have already been funded are excluded from an application in the following year. The selected choirs receive a fee and are involved in the revenue of the event.
Concert on September 21, 2025 in the Groß-Gerau district office
A jury from experts will select three choirs from the applications received, which will appear September 21, 2025 The jury consists of members of the Sparkassen Foundation Groß-Gerau, the two singers of Groß-Gerau and Mainspitze as well as the district's cultural office.
