Artist Ariel Performing and Miguel Epes show works in Darmstadt
On Friday, May 23, 2025, the new "Gallery on the Stadtmauer" opens its doors for the first time in downtown Darmstadt. In the opening exhibition "Argentinos Afuera", the two artists Ariel expiring and Miguel Epes present works from previous years. The vernissage begins at 6 p.m. with a greeting by Gregor exposed and a subsequent reception.
Both artists live and work in Darmstadt, but come from Argentina. Ariel is more important as a sculptor, painter and professor at the TU Darmstadt. His works, including smaller sculptures, show critical reflections of social issues. Miguel Epes works freelance as an illustrator and painter. His work is characterized by lively colors and dynamic compositions in which memories of his homeland are reflected.
"I am fascinated by how color can create light, shape and characters. In the pictures of Ariel and Miguel in very different ways, but so expressive that you want to stay long before," says gallery owner Katja Epes , who runs the new gallery.

- The artists' video orchards : On Wednesday, June 4, 2025 , at 7 p.m. , an event with Rainer Lind will take place, the cinematic portraits of the two artists.
- Finissage : The exhibition ends on Sunday, June 29, 2025 , at 5 p.m. with a finissage in the gallery.
