Poster exhibition from 4 September to 21 October commemorates the role of youth in the resistance
Darmstadt. "We wanted to be free and owe this freedom to ourselves" – under this motto, the German Polish Institute the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 from September 4 to October 21, 2025. The focus of the exhibition is the Scout Post, which was set up by children and young people during the uprising to maintain communication among the civilian population.
Vernissage and opening hours
The exhibition opens on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. Harald Rosteck (curator, Pfadfinder-Förderkreis Nordbayern e. V.) and Prof. Dr. Peter Oliver Loew , director of the German Polish Institute, will speak at the vernissage
