Temporary lane closures planned due to mobile construction site
Hessen Mobil has announced that on the B 3 between Darmstadt and Eberstadt on Saturday, November 15 , and Sunday, November 16. The work will take place in both directions – between the B 3 (Karlsruher Straße) / B 426 and Pfungstädter Straße Nußbaumallee overpass in the direction of Ober-Ramstadt.
Temporary restrictions due to mobile construction site
Since these are surface drilling operations with a depth of only up to one meter, the work will be carried out as a mobile construction site . This may result in a temporary narrowing of one lane . Hessen Mobil requests that road users exercise increased caution.
Background: Closing the gap in the cycle path
These surveys are necessary to prepare for the planned closure of the gap in the cycle path along the B 3. As part of this project, the junction at the A 5 interchange and the B 3/B 426 junction be upgraded to improve traffic flow.
The boreholes provide important information about the condition of the road surface , which is needed for further planning.
