Night work in preparation for road and sewer construction in Darmstadt
As the city of Darmstadt announces, preliminary ordnance surveys night of October 16th to 17th, 2025 in Moosbergstraße between Kiesbergstraße and Ludwigshöhstraße .
The exploratory surveys serve to check the safety of the subsurface before the planned road and sewer construction work begins. In particular, the existing sewer line being tested to rule out any possible unexploded ordnance from the Second World War.
Work takes place at night
For safety reasons, the work will take place outside of tram operating hours – between 1 and 3 a.m. The city asks residents and road users for their understanding regarding any potential disruptions.
