Night work in preparation for road and sewer construction work in Darmstadt
As announced by the Science City of Darmstadt , preparatory ordnance investigations night of October 16-17, 2025, in Moosbergstraße between Kiesbergstraße and Ludwigshöhstraße .
The surveys are intended to assess the subsoil's safety before the planned road and sewer construction work begins. In particular, the existing sewer cleared to rule out possible munitions from the Second World War.
Work takes place at night
For safety reasons, the work will take place outside of tram service hours – between 1 and 3 a.m. The city asks residents and road users for their understanding for any disruption.
