Caritas Association Darmstadt wants to expand its support services for families
The Caritas Association Darmstadt e.V. announces that it is seeking new mentors for its family mentoring project "KIM – Children at the Center". This volunteer opportunity is aimed at people who would like to support and relieve the burden on families in Darmstadt and the western part of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district in their daily lives.
Growing demand for everyday support
For several years, this project has supported families in challenging situations and offered them reliable relief. The high demand demonstrates the significant need for support. To help as many families as possible, the Caritas association regularly seeks new volunteers who enjoy giving their time and strengthening families in their daily lives.
Training for new mentors starts in the new year
In 2026, a multi-part training course for prospective family mentors will again be offered. Led by the project coordinators, it provides the fundamentals for working in a family setting. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate, and suitable placements are then arranged together.
