Conduits will be laid in several streets starting on February 23rd
The expansion of the fiber optic network in the Martinsviertel district of Darmstadt will begin on Monday, February 23. According to the energy supplier ENTEGA AG, empty conduits for future fiber optic cables will be laid. The work is expected to last until the end of June.
Several sections of road in the Martinsviertel district are affected:
- Gutenbergstrasse between Copernicus Square and Spessartring
- Lichtenbergstraße between Kranichsteiner Straße and Dieburger Straße
- Taunusstraße between Kranichsteiner Straße and Dieburger Straße
- Kittlerstraße between Kranichsteiner Straße and Dieburger Straße
Noise and parking restrictions possible
Additional noise is to be expected during the construction work. Furthermore, no-parking zones will be signposted in the affected areas. Residents will be informed of the measures in writing.
