Reinheim (town center): Plans for 2026
The expansion project for the town center of Reinheim is currently in the planning phase . Construction is not expected to begin before the second quarter of 2026. The city and the company will provide joint information as soon as specific dates for the excavation work are available.
Ueberau: Construction work to be completed by August 2025
Construction work is already underway Ueberau district be completed by August 2025. Activation of the first fiber optic connections is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025 .
Language bridges: First connections possibly usable as early as 2025
Expansion work is also progressing in Spachbrücken planned for March 2026. Some sections could be activated as early as the end of 2025 – depending on the progress of construction.
Georgenhausen and Zeilhard: Expansion until mid-2026
The two districts of Georgenhausen and Zeilhard are at similar stages of development. Construction is scheduled for completion by July and August 2026, respectively. Initial activations in some areas could begin as early as the fourth quarter of 2025 .
What does "activation" mean?
Activation refers to the technical deployment of the fiber optic network in specific streets. A prior contract with Deutsche Glasfaser is required for use. Full in-house installation can be carried out later. You will be informed about all steps in a timely manner.
