Information evenings and a mobile information unit accompany the demand aggregation
The comprehensive fiber optic rollout in Weiterstadt is progressing: In addition to Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Glasfaser in the expansion of the digital infrastructure. The goal is to provide all households and businesses in Weiterstadt with fast and future-proof internet access.
“A fast internet connection is just as essential today as electricity or water,” emphasizes Mayor Ralf Möller . “The cooperation with Deutsche Glasfaser is an important step in making Weiterstadt fit for the digital future.”
Demand aggregation begins – two information evenings planned
With the start of the demand aggregation phase in the coming weeks, the next important phase begins. To fully inform all citizens, two public information evenings held:

Bürgerzentrum Weiterstadt , Carl-Ulrich-Straße 9–13 - Tuesday, July 30, 2025, 7:00 p.m.
Bürgerhaus Gräfenhausen , Schlossgasse 15
Information van will be regularly visiting the city districts from July 21st
Starting July 21, 2025, a Deutsche Glasfaser information van be regularly visiting various city districts. Interested individuals can personal consultations . These visits will continue until October 6, 2025 (week 41) .
