From aliens, vampires and musicals-cult films in the Audimax cinema
The student film circle at the TU Darmstadt has published its cinema program for the summer semester 2025 . In addition to classics and arthouse films, the focus in this semester is particularly the focus.
Film highlights: alien film night and vampire series
In this semester, the film circle takes its visitors on a cinematic journey into the world of horror. The alien film night with the motto "In the Audimax nobody hears you" shouting " brings the scary Xenomorph being out of the" Alien "series onto the big screen. "Vampires in all shapes and colors" devotes itself to the vampire film genre, which originated "Nosferatu"
But not only dark designs master the program. Musicals ensure a contrast: The "Let Us Entertain You" shows the Broadway film "Wicked" and the music biopic "A Better Man" in the modern 7.1 surround sound system of the Audimax.
Focus on classics and arthouse cinema
In addition to the theme series, the film circle presents a selection of film classics . So cinema fans have the opportunity to experience "12 Angry Men" or the Kalter-War satire "One, two, two"
"We have put together a round program again - from Hollywood to Arthouse and documentation to German cinema, everything is included," said Hendrik Würtz from the Filmkreis.

The film circle regularly shows its films three days a week:

The student film circle is a university group that has existed at the TU Darmstadt since 1954. With modern projection options from 16 mm to 35 mm to 4K digital projection and a 7.1 surround sound system, it offers a unique cinema experience.
