Dotter Foundation donates 13-meter-high Nordmann fir tree – Festive lighting on November 27th
With mulled wine, music and twinkling lights, the Advent season is ushered in in Eberstadt: On Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. the festive first illumination of the Christmas tree will take place on the Eberstadt market square .
The event is traditionally made possible by the Dotter Foundation , which is also donating the Christmas tree this year – a 13-meter-high Nordmann fir from the Spessart region , which bathes the square in festive light.
Festive atmosphere and good causes
The opening speeches will be given by the managing chairman of the foundation, Karl G. Dotter , and Eberstadt's district administrator, Ludwig Achenbach . The ceremony will be accompanied musically by the brass ensemble of the YMCA Eberstadt .
Edvino wine shop will provide Christmas treats with mulled wine and punch – the proceeds will be donated to a good cause , which will be announced later.
The Christmas tree lights are switched on daily during Advent – in the morning from 6 to 9 a.m. and in the evening from 5 to 10 p.m.
All citizens are cordially invited to celebrate the beginning of the pre-Christmas season together in the Eberstadt market square.
