Browse, haggle and discover special finds
The traditional flea market will take place again on Karolinenplatz in Darmstadt on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., visitors can browse, haggle, and take home special finds.

Whether it's everyday items, toys, secondhand clothing, books, or home decor, the selection is diverse. A special area for vintage and secondhand goods, located between the State Archives and the State Museum, complements the market. Crepes and coffee from Spagerer, as well as savory snacks from Grupe, provide refreshments.
Notes for sellers
- Setup from 5 a.m., market start at 6 a.m.
- Only permitted on the grounds of Karolinenplatz
- No traders or itinerant traders allowed
- Vehicles are not permitted on the premises
- Stand fee: 6 euros per running meter, to be paid in cash on site
- Sales area max. 3 x 1 meter, small umbrellas (Ø 2.50 m) permitted
- No bulky goods, animals, food or drinks for sale
- Unsold items must be taken back
The organizing team will be on hand to support the event, and the municipal police will monitor compliance with the rules. Violations may result in expulsion or fines. Restrooms are available on site.
