Experts will provide information on aircraft noise and current measurement data on August 27th
The city of Weiterstadt invites residents to a public information evening about the "CINDY S" flight route on Thursday, August 27th . It will begin at 7 p.m. in the Schneppenhausen community center . The event is exclusively for residents of Weiterstadt.
The focus will be on current information about the flight route and its impact on the region. Presentations will be given by Ms. Barth, the flight noise abatement officer for the state of Hesse,and Mr. Brunn from the Öko-Institut (Institute for AppliedEcology). Afterwards, visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with the experts.
Another focus of the evening will be the presentation of the measurement results from the local aircraft noise monitoring devices. The collected data will be explained and contextualized to provide a transparent overview of the current noise situation.
Mayor Niklas Gehnich encourages active participation: “Open exchange with citizens is important to us. The information evening offers the opportunity to get comprehensive information, ask questions and engage in conversation together.”
Participation is free, registration is not required.
