Festive atmosphere and hike through the Bessungen Forest on December 14th
On Sunday, December 14th , the 15th annual Christmas in the Woods at Ludwigshöhe visitors to the festively illuminated local mountain of Bessungen. Clubs, private individuals, and the Ludwigsklause will provide a charming atmosphere with food, music, and Christmas cheer for young and old.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of food and drinks, including mulled wine, children's punch, hot cider, bratwurst, bread with lard, nuts, cookies, campfire bread, compote, and sparkling wine. The selection is complemented by hand-knitted items, socks, and other handmade goods.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bessungen school choir at 2 p.m. and the trombone choir of the Liebfrauen parish around 4 p.m. Nicholas also announced his visit. Torches for the return journey at dusk can purchased on site .
The hosts include the Streuobstwiesen Association , Christasgestricktes , the Ludwigsklause , the German Forest Protection Association (SDW) , the BBL and the Kiwanis Club . The Kiwanis Club is particularly committed to supporting children from diverse social backgrounds and, among other things, supports local schoolbag initiatives.
As part of the Christmas in the Woods event, everyone is invited to a group hike . It starts at 2 p.m. at the Academy of Music non-members as well . It will be led by BBL hiking guide Georg Angrick .
