Whether it's "Hello Mom..." or "Hello Grandpa, I need help" – many people have already experienced such calls. Behind these scams are perpetrators who use psychological tricks to try to unsettle especially elderly people and get their money.
To raise awareness of these dangers and provide tips on how to protect against fraud, the advocacy group for older people, in cooperation with the police advisory center , the consumer advice center and the senior citizens' theatre "Roßdörfer Spätlese", you to an information event:

Education with serious facts and humor
The event explains the methods used by scammers – from fake relatives on the phone to alleged tradespeople or police officers at the door. Attendees learn how to correctly assess situations, recognize fraudulent promises of winnings, and defend themselves against con artists.
The senior citizens' theatre group "Roßdörfer Spätlese" introduces the topic with humor and vivid scenes.
Support for those affected
In addition to providing information on-site, the police advisory center and the consumer advice center also offer direct help and advice. They support victims, give legal tips, and show how to get help in the event of damage.
