Citizens' information on city green, relaxation and climate protection
The science city of Darmstadt will inform you on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 4 p.m. in an online information event about the urban open space concept. The event takes place digitally via Webex and is aimed at all interested citizens.
"The open space concept is a framework plan for the entire settlement area. It serves to secure existing freedom and the city green and to develop them further," explains green area manufacturer Michael Kolmer . "Free spaces make a decisive contribution to relaxation, health, climate protection and biodiversity - they are essential for a living environment. That is why we want to talk to the people in Darmstadt."
Evaluation of the freedom supply completed
The analysis of the inventory situation has been completed and forms the basis for concrete planning:
- Where is there a good freedom supply - and where not?
- Where are the possible uses such as playing areas or green areas?
- What measures can be taken to secure or create new freedom?
The event presents the strategies and results of the open space concept and provides space for questions and exchange.
