Lifeguard and assistant sought for 70th anniversary of Goddelau outdoor swimming pool
The upcoming bathing season at the Goddelau outdoor swimming pool is all about a special anniversary: On Saturday, May 16th, starting at 10 a.m., not only will the 2026 season be opened, but the 70th anniversary of the outdoor swimming pool at Weidstraße 35 will also be celebrated.
The spa is known in the region primarily for its pollutant-free water disinfection, which does not irritate the eyes, mucous membranes or skin.
Lifeguards wanted
We are still looking for dedicated lifeguards for the anniversary season. Responsibilities include, in particular:
- Supervisory activities in the water sector
- Cleaning work, mainly in wet areas
- Providing first aid
- Contact person for bathers with questions
A DLRG (German Lifesaving Association) lifeguard certificate is required. If needed, the training can be completed directly on-site with the pool manager, Uwe Tresch.
Assistant for cleaning and service work
In addition, an assistant is needed. Duties include:
- Cleaning work in wet areas
- Contact person for bathers
- Minor maintenance and upkeep work in the outdoor swimming pool
