Psychedelic Krautrock and Alternative RnB Soul in September
Darmstadt. In September, the Bessunger Knabenschule will once again host two Frischzelle concerts . The program offers diverse evenings featuring psychedelic krautrock and alternative R&B/soul sounds.
Suzan Köcher's Suprafon on September 3rd
The opening act is Suzan Köchers Suprafon on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 9 p.m. The musicians blend dream pop, indie, krautrock, disco, 60s vibes, desert Americana, and soundtrack elements into an atmospheric, melodic, and simultaneously hallucinatory sound. Since 2017, they have performed at international festivals and on WDR's Rockpalast . Their latest album, *In These Dying Times*, was released in October 2024 by Unique Records.

Wukan on September 17th
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 9 p.m., Wukan the stage. Behind the project is Cologne-based guitarist, singer, and producer Simon Bahr, who, together with a rotating cast of musicians, has developed a distinctive sound. The blend of alternative R&B, soul, jazz, and indie is organic, atmospheric, and deliberately minimalist – a sound that focuses less on gloss and more on emotion and authenticity.
