Obo and Klaus Dengler will play guitar music in the style of Flamenco, Orient and Mediterranean on May 11th
Mediterranean guitar romance awaits the audience on Sunday, May 11, 2025 , at 5 p.m. in the historic water tower at Darmstadt Central Station . In a 50-minute concert, Obo and Klaus Dengler compositions for guitar and bass, which are inspired by the flair of southern countries and atmospheric sound images.
The focus is on own compositions of OBO, who dine from elements of oriental, Spanish and Mediterranean music. The Darmstadt musician has been active as a composer and guitarist for over 45 and has developed a varied repertoire over the decades. As early as the 1980s, he toured with the legendary "El Duo Flamenco" as a cultural ambassador of the city of Darmstadt by European partner cities.
The spring concert invites you to a relaxed musical afternoon - with authentic guitar sounds that cause pictures of sun -drenched landscapes and Mediterranean joie de vivre.
