Road surface collapse after pipe damage – one-week repair work planned
Groß-Gerau-Wallerstädten. An der Pforte street has led to erosion and a collapse of the road surface. For the necessary repairs, the road through the town between house number 50 (intersection with Feldstraße) and house number 64 (intersection with Rennbrückenstraße) will be completely closed from Monday, August 18, 2025.
During the construction work, truck traffic will be diverted via Trebur. A local detour will be in place for cars and buses: this route leads via Berkacher Weg, Neustraße and Feldstraße, or via Lange Hecke and Kreuzweg.
The repairs are expected to take one week. The town of Groß-Gerau asks road users for their understanding regarding the unavoidable disruptions and requests that they observe the signposted detours.
