Road collapse due to power line damage – one-week repair work planned
Groß-Gerau-Wallerstädten. on An der Pforte has caused erosion and a collapse of the roadway. For the necessary repair work, the town center road between on An der Pforte (intersection with Feldstraße) and number 64 (intersection with Rennbrückenstraße) will be completely closed starting Monday, August 18, 2025.
During the construction work, truck traffic will be diverted largely via Trebur. Car traffic and scheduled bus services will be diverted within the town via Berkacher Weg, Neustraße, and Feldstraße, or via Lange Hecke and Kreuzweg.
The repairs are expected to take a week. The district town of Groß-Gerau asks road users for their understanding of the unavoidable disruption and to follow the posted detours.
