Renovation work is expected to last two months – alternative halls are available
Due to water damage, the funeral hall at the Gräfenhausen-Schneppenhausen cemetery unusable for approximately two months since the beginning of October 2025. The cause is leaks in the old slate roof , which led dampness in the suspended wooden ceiling
To prevent further damage, both the roof and the ceiling cladding be completely replaced. During the renovation, the funeral chapels at the Weiterstadt and Braunshardt cemeteries available alternatives
