Specializes positions of the city and district offer appointments on June 23 for pedagogical specialists
The departments for addiction prevention of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district and the science city of Darmstadt (Netzwerk Rope eV) offer all-day training for specialists on Monday, June 23, 2025 who work with children from addicted families.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the branch of children's and youth promotion at Mina-Rees-Straße 2 , Darmstadt.
Basic knowledge and security of action in everyday professional life
The focus is on basic knowledge on the subject of addiction and addicts , roles understanding within an addictive family system as well as legal aspects. The training is aimed at specialists from social and educational professional fields that are in everyday professional life with affected children and adolescents.
Strengthening for child protection
Darmstadt's youth and social director Barbara Akdeniz emphasizes:
"Children from addicted to addiction often bear an invisible burden. This training strengthens the people who encounter them every day with knowledge and security of action- an important contribution to child protection."

also "It is important that specialists are sensitized at an early stage in order to strengthen children affected and pass on help."

Participation requires a binding registration with the name, institution and contact details to fsp@ladadi.de . A further training on this topic is planned for the second half of the year.
