The city invites citizens to participate in the discussion about the mobility of the future
With the project "ZukunftMobil | Zukunftsplan Mobilitätsfrieden" (Future Mobility | Future Plan for Mobility Peace) , the city of Darmstadt is working on a new integrated transport development plan. The goal is to create a strategic framework for sustainable mobility development. Starting September 12, 2025, citizens are invited to contribute their ideas and perspectives at three public forums.
“Citizens should actively participate in achieving peace on mobility. Together we want to discuss how mobility in Darmstadt should develop in the coming years and which goals are crucial,” says Mobility Officer Paul Georg Wandrey .
Open exchange at themed islands
Following an introduction by City Councillor Wandrey, the planning experts will provide brief updates on the project's current status. Afterwards, participants can contribute their suggestions at various themed discussion stations and discuss topics directly with experts. All three forums are identical in content; only the venues differ. Visitors are welcome to join at any time during the specified times.
