Darmstadt and ENTEGA provide information on municipal heat planning, renovation and heating technology
The City of Darmstadt and ENTEGA invite you to an information event on future-proof heating for the Heimstättensiedlung housing estate on Thursday, March 27, 2025. The information evening is aimed at property owners and interested citizens and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the hall of SG Eiche, Kronstädter Weg 12.
The focus will be on municipal heat planning, the Building Energy Act, and initial steps towards greater energy efficiency in private homes. The event aims to provide information on the legal framework and offer practical support for implementing energy-saving measures.
Local climate protection and energy transition
The city of Darmstadt, a center of science and technology, is currently developing its municipal heat plan to determine the optimal future heat supply for each of its districts. Climate Protection Officer Michael Kolmer emphasizes:
“The energy transition is a key task for the coming years. With this event, we will explain what the municipal heat plan and the Building Energy Act mean specifically for property owners. At the same time, we want to encourage them to take initial steps toward making their own properties future-proof.”
The keynote speaker of the evening is energy expert Carsten Herbert, known as the "Energy Saving Commissioner" on YouTube and as a Spiegel bestseller author, who explains complex technical topics in a clear and practical way. The event is organized by the City of Darmstadt and ENTEGA in cooperation with Effizienz:Klasse GmbH.
