EAD: Recycling center, hazardous waste collection point and composting facility closed on October 3rd
The Darmstadt Municipal Services Department (EAD) has announced that, due to the public holiday on German Unity Day (October 3rd), waste collection dates will be moved forward . Furthermore, the recycling center, the hazardous waste collection point, and the composting facility will be closed on this day.
Changed collection dates in week 40
The emptying of the waste containers will be rescheduled as follows:
- Monday, September 29 → Saturday, September 27
- Tuesday, September 30 → Monday, September 29
- Wednesday, October 1 → Tuesday, September 30
- Thursday, October 2 → Wednesday, October 1
- Friday, October 3 → Thursday, October 2
The EAD requests all households to place their waste containers from 6 a.m. and make them accessible for disposal.
Facilities closed on public holidays
The following EAD facilities will be closed on Friday, October 3:
- Recycling center and hazardous waste collection point , Sensfelderweg 33
- Composting plant , Eckhardwiesenstraße 25
