Cooperation with the children's clothing bank on September 25th
For over 20 years, the multicultural cooking studio GARI BALDI people from Eberstadt and the surrounding region together. Each month, the event series focuses on the cuisine of a specific country, complemented by information on its cultural, social, and political background. This creates an inclusive and intergenerational project that combines culinary enjoyment with social interaction.
The next GARI BALDI evening will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Caritas Center Eberstadt South (In der Kirchtanne 33). This time it is in cooperation with the Eberstadt Children's Clothing Bank . In addition to preparing and eating together, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the work of the initiative.
Eberstadt children's clothing bank presented
The children's clothing bank is run by 17 volunteers. It offers families in difficult circumstances free access to well-preserved children's clothing and items. Donated items are collected and redistributed – a contribution to social support and sustainability. The initiative was awarded the Ketteler Prize .
The children's clothing bank is located at Stockhausenweg 50 and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 pm to 5 pm. You can contact them during opening hours by phone at 06151-504658 or by email at kinderkleider@pfarrgruppe.de . Donations of clothing up to size 164 are welcome.
Registration and participation
The participation fee for the cooking evening is €6. Registration with the Caritas Center Eberstadt South is required by September 22nd.
