Cooperation with VfR Eberstadt and the Children's and Youth Rights Initiative at the Caritas Center South
Darmstadt-Eberstadt. For over 20 years, the multicultural cooking studio GARI BALDI people from Eberstadt and the surrounding area together. Each month, on the last Thursday of the month, . The next cooking evening will take on August 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Caritas Center Eberstadt South (In der Kirchtanne 33) – this time in cooperation with VfR Eberstadt and the Children's and Youth Rights Initiative in Eberstadt .
Culinary delights meet integration and commitment
At GARI BALDI, the focus is on preparing and enjoying international dishes together – always accompanied by information about the social, political, and cultural background of the host country. The initiative thus creates an intergenerational, inclusive space where encounters and exchanges on equal footing are possible.
Two local organizations will also be presenting themselves on August 28th:
- VfR Eberstadt : The traditional sports club with a new board aims to transform the club grounds in Nußbaumallee into an open public park – with offerings such as walking soccer for all age groups.
- The Children's and Youth Rights Initiative in Eberstadt : Active in the district for almost ten years, the initiative draws attention to itself through projects such as the postcard campaign #eberglücklich (Eberstadt happy ), therapeutic boxing for children with ADHD , and "Kick with Brains." Its aim is to meaningfully combine values education and physical activity.
Registration possible until August 25th
fee of €6.00 will be charged for the cooking evening . Registration by August 25th is required for organizational reasons and can be done through the Caritas Center Eberstadt South .
GARI BALDI is still looking for new cooperation partners who would like to present themselves and their culture – be it through a dish, an idea, or a project. Interested organizations or individuals are warmly invited to participate.
