A multicultural cooking studio brings people together with an international barbecue evening
Darmstadt-Eberstadt – The multicultural cooking studio GARI BALDI invites you to a special summer evening on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the garden of the Evangelical Church of Eberstadt-Süd. Instead of cooking together on site as usual, participants will bring their own dishes and create an international barbecue buffet – celebrating diversity, exchange, and community.
For over 20 years, GARI BALDI has regularly offered culinary encounters with changing themes. The aim is to overcome cultural boundaries and bring people from Eberstadt and the surrounding area together in a pleasurable way. Each event focuses on a different country, its cuisine, and accompanying information about its culture and society.

The barbecue on July 31st is being held in cooperation with the Evangelical Church of Eberstadt-Süd and with the support of Werkhof Darmstadt e. V. The barbecue will take place at the community center at Stresemannstraße 1. asked to bring dishes such as salads, bread, sauces, or desserts to create a diverse international buffet. Drinks and grilled meat will be provided; vegetarian options are welcome.
Anyone interested is warmly invited to participate. Registration, including details of the food being brought, is required by July 28th at the Caritas Center Eberstadt South. Registration forms are also available there. The participation fee is €5.
