More than 30 initiatives, associations and companies are presenting ideas for climate and environmental protection at Friedensplatz
Go.Bio.Fair trade fair will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Friedensplatz in Darmstadt. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the focus will be on sustainability, climate and environmental protection, and innovative projects for a future-proof city. Visitors can learn more, try things out, and talk directly to experts.
Wide range of products and services from renewable energies to nature conservation projects
More than 30 initiatives, associations, institutions, and companies will present their commitment to a sustainable future. Topics range from renewable energies and sustainable consumption to local nature conservation projects .
• Interactive activities invite visitors to try things out.
• Regional organic food vendors will provide culinary delights.
• A children's program will introduce sustainability to the youngest guests in a playful way.
In addition to knowledge transfer, the focus is on exchange: The fair offers practical tips and suggestions for greater sustainability in everyday life. Information on the urban development project Lindenhof-, Mühlstraße, Woogsplatz is also part of the program.

- 12 noon: Announcement of the winning photos of the "More Space for Biodiversity" campaign (Environmental Office booth)
- 12 and 2 pm: Escape Game “The Climate Experts: Saving Tomorrow” (Stand of the Protestant Deanery)

- The fair is organized by the Environmental Office of the City of Darmstadt , the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt, and the World Shop Darmstadt . The project is supported by local partners from business, science, and civil society .
