Cemetery administration of the Büchnerstadt Riedstadt informed
The cemetery administration of the Büchnerstadt Riedstadt will have graves cleared in the cemeteries from the calendar week seven in February 2025, whose rest period of 25 years has expired. All graves of deceased who were buried until 1999 are affected.
Lists of the individual series graves in question will soon be posted in the showcases of the respective cemetery. In all other graves (family grave, children's grave, urn grave and urn niche), an extension of the period of use is possible. The cemetery administration therefore asks the bereaved to contact the town hall employee Marisa Draeger on 06158/181-313. The evacuations are carried out by the building yard. Only the surface is cleared for earth grabs, i.e. gravestones, border and foundations are removed. In urn niches, the panels are removed and the overurns are cleared out with the ash capsules. The ash capsules are buried at a central point in the cemetery in the presence of a pastor in the ground. The overcurrents and plates are the property of the bereaved and can be picked up in the respective cemetery on request.
