Tree pruning planned north of the B26
As the city of Griesheim announces, tree pruning, tree care work and tree topping will be carried out along the Küchlergraben between the B26 and the fish ponds from next week until the end of February 2026.
The measures are being carried out in coordination with the Schwarzbachgebiet-Ried water association. The aim is to ensure water drainage and to comply with traffic safety regulations along the access road to the fish ponds.
Working in the nature reserve
Since the area is partly located within a nature reserve and a Natura 2000 area, the approval of the higher nature conservation authority was obtained.
Temporary disruptions to access and egress to the fish ponds are possible. The city points out that these restrictions will be temporary.
