Open meeting on March 24th at the town hall
A community festival will be held in Griesheim this year. The city council approved the event at its meeting on December 17th, following a proposal from the Foreign Residents' Advisory Board. The festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th.
The coordination team is now looking for participants who would like to contribute their own offering to the community festival.
To gather ideas and clarify organizational questions, the team invites you to an open meeting on Tuesday, March 24th, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm in the town hall, meeting room C.
Making diversity visible
We are looking for diverse contributions – from culinary offerings to hands-on activities that promote interaction and exchange. The aim is to offer activities that spark curiosity and support mutual understanding.
The event venue is planned to be the carriage house and the surrounding open area. If necessary, the area can be extended to include the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus, as well as the area around the town hall and the city park.
The Foreigners' Advisory Council and the city consider it a key priority to showcase Griesheim's diversity at the community festival. The festival aims to bring together people of different origins, generations, and life stories.
