City administration reports technical malfunction – operations should resume today
Griesheim. The two passport photo booths at the Griesheim registration office were temporarily out of service today, Thursday. According to the city administration, the machines will not be available for the remainder of the day to be fully again today, Friday, July 25
The administration cites technical licensing problems , which led to the restriction of the interface functionality . The city is currently working intensively on a solution to get the systems back up and running as quickly as possible.
Alternatives for citizens
In the meantime, residents of Griesheim can certified photo studios or drugstores to have passport photos taken. There they will receive a data matrix code (QR code) which can be presented when applying for identity documents at the residents' registration office.
