The new contribution rate for the 2024–2028 construction program is 9 cents/m²
The city of Griesheim will send out the first notices for recurring street improvement fees under the new construction program starting September 29, 2025. Following the completion of the first program (2019–2023), the second construction program, covering the years 2024 to 2028, is now beginning.
For the first program, the contribution rate was 13 cents per square meter of assessed area. In the new program, the rate has been set at 9 cents/m² . This also takes into account the cost surplus from the previous program.
A total of approximately 6,000 notices be sent out. These are based on individual assessment areas, which vary according to property size, number of stories, and commercial use. Properties whose twenty-year exemption period has expired are also being considered for the first time.
The fee is due on November 3, 2025. If a SEPA direct debit mandate for recurring street maintenance fees already exists, the payment will be debited automatically. Mandates issued for other types of charges are not valid here.
