Grants of up to 1,175 euros – apply in good time
At the beginning of June, the city of Griesheim approved a new funding program for photovoltaic (PV) systems, which has already been successfully launched. Interested parties should submit applications in good time, as the funds are only available until the end of the year.
Subsidies for new PV systems
PV systems with an installed capacity of more than two kilowatts peak (kWp) are eligible for funding. Griesheim households can receive a subsidy of up to €1,175 for a newly installed system.
“The funding offer provides Griesheim residents with additional incentives to invest in a sustainable energy supply, so that the expansion of renewable energies in Griesheim can be further advanced,” explains Jörg Glock, Climate Protection Manager for the City of Griesheim.
Application process and advice
All projects that have not yet begun and for which an application is submitted – along with a cost estimate – are eligible for funding.

Climate Protection Manager Jörg Glock is available to answer any questions. He also offers free energy consultations by appointment on Fridays. A PV potential analysis can also be conducted to assess the economic viability of a system.
