City and SEGG provide on-site information about development work and next construction phases
Griesheim. On Tuesday (August 5), the city of Griesheim and the Griesheim Urban Development Corporation (SEGG) a tour of the construction site at Griesheimer Anger . Around 70 interested citizens took advantage of the opportunity to about the status of the construction work and further plans firsthand .
After a welcome address by Mayor Geza Krebs-Wetzl and SEGG Managing Director Jens Gottwald, project manager Erich Varnhagen gave underground utility lines such as water and power lines are currently being laid, and construction roads are being built .
Construction planned for autumn
To minimize disruption to residents , deliveries to the construction site will be made exclusively via the Anger site. The construction phase scheduled to begin in the fall, when the first buildings will be constructed on the conversion site.
During the tour, Erich Varnhagen provided an outlook on the future design of the various neighborhoods and explained the construction implementation steps. Following the tour, an informal discussion session with SEGG officials took place.
"The newly created living space is an opportunity for Griesheim," emphasizes Jens Gottwald. "We are aware that construction sites also bring with them stresses. Therefore, we rely on transparency and personal communication to address concerns early on and find solutions."
