The city of Griesheim invites you to an information event on the construction site on August 5th
Griesheim. The city of Griesheim and the Griesheim Urban Development Company (SEGG) invite you to a site visit of the construction site at Griesheimer Anger Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The South-East Conversion Network , but interested citizens are also expressly invited to get an overview of the current status of the project.
Erich Varnhagen , project manager of SEGG, will be on site to provide information about the ongoing construction activities and the next planning steps. The aim of the event is to communicate developments on the site transparently and to enable direct exchange with the public.
The meeting point is at the corner of Gutermuthstraße and Lilienthalstraße . As this is an active construction site without paved paths, sturdy footwear is recommended published in the city's event calendar at www.griesheim.de

Background: South-East Conversion Network
The South-East Conversion Network was launched in 2021 and is a citizen participation . It accompanies the development of the former conversion area and brings together various interest groups – including residents, representatives from politics, the city administration, SEGG (a local development agency), as well as associations, initiatives, and engaged citizens from the southeastern part of the city. The goal is to actively shape the expansion of the district through dialogue with the city's residents.
