City of Griesheim invites you to the information event on the construction site on August 5th
Griesheim. The city of Griesheim and the urban development company Griesheim (SEGG) invite to the inspection of the construction site at Griesheimer Anger Tuesday, August 5, 2025 . Konversion Süd-Ost network will participate , but interested citizens are also expressly invited to get an idea of the current state of the project.
Erich Varnhagen , project manager of the SEGG, will inform about the ongoing construction activities and the next planning steps on site. The aim of the event is to communicate the developments on the site transparently and to enable a direct exchange with the citizens.
The meeting point is located on the corner of Gutermuthstrasse / Lilienthalstrasse . Since it is an active construction site without paved paths, wearing firm footwear is recommended . In bad weather, the event can be postponed at short notice. Information on this is announced event calendar at www.griesheim.de

Background: Network Conversion South-East
The South-East network was launched in 2021 and is a format for citizen participation . It accompanies the development of the former conversion area and brings together various interest groups - including resident, representatives from politics, city administration, the Segg as well as clubs, initiatives and committed citizens from the southeastern urban area. The aim is to actively shape the expansion of the district in dialogue with the city society.
