SGA triathletes post strong times and win their age group
Two athletes from the SGA Triathlon department participated in the 40th Spring Run in Groß-Gerau on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Despite cool but generally good running conditions, both delivered strong performances over the 10-kilometer distance.
Marina Lefort wins age group
Marina Lefort (W50) completed the 10 kilometers in 41:30 minutes, securing first place in her age group. In the overall standings of all 88 female participants, she achieved an excellent fourth place.
Marcus Ortland's rankings
Marcus Ortland (M50) reached the finish line after 43:37 minutes. This meant sixth place in his age group. In the overall standings of 131 men, he came in 43rd.
Both were satisfied with their times and praised the organization of the traditional race. Only the sometimes strong headwind posed an additional challenge on the course.
