Diving teams are deployed – the public is asked to avoid the area
The Prinz von Hessen mine is currently closed to the public. This is due to the search for a missing person who was reported afternoon of July 1, 2025.
The ongoing search operation involves rescue workers as well as special units with divers . To allow the operation to proceed without disruption, the mine will remain closed until further notice .
The city and emergency services are asking the population to avoid the area around the lake so that the search operations can be carried out smoothly and quickly
As soon as new information is available, it will be published promptly.
