Hessen Mobil announces road safety work
In the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, damaged guardrails on several roads will be replaced next week. Hessen Mobil reports that the work is being carried out on behalf of the Groß-Umstadt road maintenance depot. This is due to accident damage to existing guardrails.
The work will be carried out as daytime construction sites. Work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time, there will be lane closures. Traffic will be partially regulated by temporary traffic lights.
Work on federal, state and county roads
Among the affected areas is the B 426 federal highway between Darmstadt and Ober-Ramstadt.
Several rural roads in the district are also part of the project:
the L 3318 between Otzberg and Bad König,
the L 3098 between Lautertal and Darmstadt, and
the L 3102 between Fischbachtal and Modautal.
In addition, guardrails will be replaced on various district roads:
on the K 180 between Messel and Rödermark,
on the K 106 between Schaafheim and Radheim, and
on the K 144 in the Stettbach valley.
The aim of the work is to restore traffic safety on the affected sections of the road. Road users should expect disruptions in the respective areas.
