End of breeding and nesting season: City announces inspections
With the end of this year's breeding and nesting season , hedges, shrubs, and trees may now regularly pruned . The city of Weiterstadt reminds all property owners to check their green spaces and carry out any necessary pruning work promptly.
During the protected period, pruning was severely restricted to protect nesting birds and young animals. Now, the obligation to maintain plants in such a way that public paths, cycle paths, and sight lines are not obstructed is reinstated.
