City police enable more flexible parking control until July 21st
On the occasion of this year's Heiner Festival in Darmstadt (Thursday, July 3, until Monday, July 7), the city police enable a temporary special regulation for residents' parking. In exceptional, residents parking cards are also recognized in neighboring parking space management zones.
Relief for residents
The background of the measure is the strong utilization of the parking space during the firm operation, especially in the area around the city center. The regulation is intended to help facilitate the search for a parking space for the resident, the regular zone of which is blocked by buildings or visitors.
The special regulation applies:
- From July 3 to July 21, 2025,
- In all adjacent parking zones,
- Only in the case of visible, valid residents parking permit.
Important: warnings due to the lack of or not visible IDs cannot be canceled afterwards.
