Emergency services set up - city police and outdoor pools in action
On Monday, July 7, 2025 , the traditional Heiner Festival Monday , the offices and administrative offices of the science city of Darmstadt largely closed. The reason is the free day for urban employees.
Restricted service and emergency services
Exceptions only apply to certain areas:
- Emergency services are in the youth welfare office , in the vocational school center north and in the sports hall of the Lichtenberg school .
- The city police are regularly deployed and takes on the tasks of the citizens' and regulatory office .
- The urban outdoor pools open as usual .
The city asks citizens for understanding that no regular administrative services can be offered on this day.
