Emergency services set up – city police and outdoor swimming pools in action
On Monday, July 7, 2025 , the traditional Heinerfest Monday , the offices and administrative centers of the City of Darmstadt largely closed. This is due to the day off for city employees.
Limited service and emergency services
Exceptions apply only to certain areas:
- Emergency services will be at the youth welfare office , the vocational school center North and the sports hall of the Lichtenberg school .
- The city police are regularly on duty and are taking over tasks of the citizens' and public order office .
- The city's outdoor swimming pools open as usual .
The city asks citizens for their understanding that no regular administrative services can be offered on this day.
