Lidberg scores, Vukotic scores an own goal – Darmstadt 98 reward themselves with an away point
SV Darmstadt 98 secured a crucial point in their promotion bid with a 1-1 (0-0) draw at Hertha BSC. After a lackluster first half, Isac Lidberg put Darmstadt ahead shortly after the restart – his 13th goal of the season. However, an unfortunate own goal by Aleksandar Vukotic gave Hertha the equalizer. In an intense final phase, Darmstadt salvaged the draw – with a bit of luck, as a shot from the hosts struck the post in stoppage time.
