Investments in infrastructure, security and education
The municipality of Nauheim has announced that a total of €2,057,625 in funding is available for projects under the Hessenkasse program. The administration is currently finalizing the application process for disbursing the funds and preparing the required documentation. Disbursement is expected later this year.
Measures already implemented
Regardless of the ongoing billing process, the planned projects have already been completed. These include the renovation of the Schiller Bridge, which contributes to improved traffic safety.
The fire department was also strengthened: the acquisition of a turntable ladder has sustainably improved its operational capabilities. The corresponding measure has already been billed.
Projects in sports and education
The running track in the Nauheim sports park has been renovated, improving training and competition conditions for schools and clubs.
In addition, a construction trailer was purchased for the forest kindergarten in order to further expand the nature-based educational program for children.
Thanks to the state of Hesse
The local council emphasizes the importance of the funding. Thanks to the Hessenkasse program, significant investments in infrastructure, security, and educational opportunities have been made possible.
